Day 8: "Love the skin you're in"

These days it seems like everyone is on fad diets and fast programs. While these programs promise to help you to loose weight, they also have many down sides. When you do programs that make you eat their food, the food usually has no nutritional value and does not fill you up. Thus, you inadvertently starve yourself. When people "complete" these programs they usually gain most of the weight back because they have to start eating real food. Why? Why does everyone want to loose weight fast? And when did fruits and vegetables become "diet food?" Personally, I love fruits and veggies. I love the texture, taste, and smell of fruits and vegetables. I believe that if people want to loose weight they should do it the "old fashioned way." That is, they should eat a balanced diet and only eat sweets ocasionally.
